AFB Stain Kit-Ziehl Neelsen, 8oz

Our AFB Stain Kit-Ziehl Neelsen contains 8oz bottles of each of the following components, Carbol Fuchsin, Decolorizer, and Methylene Blue. AFB Stain Kit-Ziehl Neelsen is for the staining of bacteria from cultures or patient specimens suspected to contain Mycobacteria tuberculosis. The traditional Ziehl Neelsen method employs the use of heat. Ziehl Neelsen staining method uses carbol-fuchsin as a primary stain, followed by a decolorizer solution and methylene blue as a counterstain.
